<p>When you stare at that horizon line, what do you see? Do you see simply a line cutting across the middle of the picture? Or do you envision the land that eventually lies beyond it?  Both are constructs of the eye and the imagination.  There is no literal line and the coast of Canada is thousands of miles beyond.</p>
<p>Are there equally clear lines in your life that might be more accurately represented by a gradual blur if such a thing were possible?  Would that change anything significantly?</p>
