Welcome to 7 Green Stairs – a site about becoming and being an explorer – of yourself, of places, and of possibilities. Like any journey into the largely unknown it takes honesty, bravery, and support, but the rewards are boundless. The name comes from 7 as the number of introspection and insight, green for growth, and stairs representing the importance of the journey over the destination.

About Me

My name is Juliet Chase and I’m a writer, photographer, jewelry designer, and occasional technical consultant. I’ve embarked on living a life designed around what I love to do and fitting in as much adventure and exploration as I possibly can.

I’m not a therapist, life coach, or a counselor of any kind. Rather I have the expertise that comes from paying attention, personal trial and error, and an interest in helping others find and follow their dreams.

In addition to this blog, I maintain a blog of quirky news.

My two other professional passions are landscape art and my sea glass jewelry.

I truly believe that neither our parentage nor our childhood should decimate our abilities to pursue our dreams as adults which is why I volunteer as a child advocate.  You can learn more about being a volunteer at the national CASA site.
